Fender Deluxe Reverb White Tolex LE
Has anybody seen one of these. It is the Anniversay Edition in White Tolex. There is one in a shop I know of but it seems a bit over priced. Anybody seen one used anywhere or on ebay? What's the price on them usually?

A Fender Deluxe, or a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe?
Are you referring to this? The website says it retails at about a grand...

Re: Fender Deluxe Reverb White Tolex LE
I'm pretty sure he means the Deluxe Reverb with the oxblood and white tolex that was issued years ago.
I've seen them in quite a few auctions and local ads, though I am certain they're rare. I've seen a few sell for under $700 on ebay. Remember, it's just your typical Deluxe Reverb RI--nothing special regarding internal electronics. I wouldn't pay too much for the amp, but with the used amp market--particularly on ebay--fluctuating as much as it does, it would be tough to say you will get the same deal.
But if you keep checking ebay for the next month or so, you will more than likely find one for sale. They do look pretty.

If those are the ones he was mentioning, they were sold a long side the blode finish/ goldhardware MIJ Jaguars and Jazzmasters in 1994. There still seems to be debating over whether or not they were meant to be sold as a complete set or individually. Either way, the guitars are definitely great and the DRRIs look real nice.Felix wrote: I'm pretty sure he means the Deluxe Reverb with the oxblood and white tolex that was issued years ago.

Wow, I had never seen those white tolex Deluxe Reverbs. That's pretty cool...I always wanted to pick up one of those MIJ gold hardware Jags/JMs for sure.

Hmm. That's a pretty cool fact. I'd love to get one of the MIJ JMs, but they usually sell for fairly high prices.i love sharin foo wrote:If those are the ones he was mentioning, they were sold a long side the blode finish/ goldhardware MIJ Jaguars and Jazzmasters in 1994. Yeah, the blonde DRRI is gorgeous. I love oxblood grillcloth.

Re: Fender Deluxe Reverb White Tolex LE
I just sold one of the Jaguars a couple months back. I had upgraded all of the electronics, pickups, and added a mute. I can't remember exactly how much I sold it for, but I think it was around $800. They're really great guitars IMO. They have the nice brass shielding in the cavities and aluminum pickup shields as well.

According to Fender's own website there was indeed a 'package deal' in 1994 where one was able to buy a matching set of blonde guitars & amps :i love sharin foo wrote: If those are the ones he was mentioning, they were sold a long side the blode finish/ goldhardware MIJ Jaguars and Jazzmasters in 1994. Here are a couple of pics of the amp in question, which I b.t.w. think looks very nice :

That's too bad that I didn't catch your sale, Justin. I would have been all over that guitar.
That's funny that you saw the wheat grill--did some of the amps come with the oxblood cloth, too? I've seen the one pictured above, but I've also seen several oxblood models that were advertised as original condition. Is there validity to it, or is it a matter of misinformation?
