Fatdog Danelectro / Swart AST Demo (NEW DEMO LAST PAGE!)

Post by Maggieo » Wed Mar 10, 2010 11:06 pm

Danelectro And Swart Atomic Space Tone Demo

Modified Danelectro/Silvertone meets the Swart Atomic Space Tone amplifier and is recorded by an iPhone with a Blue Microphones' MIKEY mic. Be warned- it's seven minutes of noodling.

That sounds very good. I love the girthy distorted acoustic sound. :)

Very nice!

Just hit the download link- the file is just an MP3. The embedded player is Quicktime.

God that sounds good. How much volume do those swart amps put out? I assume it's more of a practice/home amp?

Low output lipsticks... Who needs piezo? You can't exactly say there's nothing like them, but there's very little like them :-*

Enough to shake the walls. It's a 20 watt amp with a 12" speaker. Deluxe Reverb territory. Definitely a gig-worthy amp.

Heck, the Space Tone Reverb Tweed, a 5 watt amp with a 12" speaker shook the walls, too.

It sounds even more acoustic, because I positioned the mic to pick up a bit of the acoustic tone of the guitar, which is pretty loud, actually. It's almost as loud as a smaller Jazzbox.

damn, 20 watts and a 12er is plenty! I might have to pick one of these up someday...

that sounds pretty sweet and jangly- and other stuff--
i had some work to do while i listened to it-- was a pleasure
I'm glad there are a lot of guitar players pursuing technique as diligently as they possibly can, it leaves this whole other area open to people like me.

Thanks, gang!!! I have a shorter recording, in a mellower vein, too. I need to put that up, too. I reckon.

Great tone, it works so nicely on the Barrett / Floyd stuff ... :-*
