I've had the neck for a while and saw the body on Ebay. decided to combine the best neck Squier have made with one of the best bodies they have made.

All I need now is the electronics, control plates, and pickguard. I'm cutting the pickguard myself. I'm thinking black. and for the pickups I'm thinking GFS WRHB's.

These new Squier vintage modified bodies are completely compatible with American Fender Jaguars. I had to widen the neck hole to fit the Japanese neck.

Wigsby + jaguar/jazzmaster body = major win. But how do they feel?

Digging the Wigsby. It looks great with it, but slightly off-kelter as well. It'd be interesting to build a guitar with slightly 'wrong' parts all round.

Nice 'burst too 8)

Loving it!

Now if you'd be a bro, and post that Wigsby template to the library section for reference...

I guess I could draw one up from the measurements I used.

The individual rollers on the tension bar seem like a good innovation on the standard design. I've never seen that on a genuine Bigsby or on a Buzzstop.

Anyone know if they'll help with tuning stability?

I have just strung it up. Can't say for sure about the tuning stability, but it seems okay. I'm finding the whole thing a bit rigid at the moment. The bridge also has roller saddles, which helps. Also, the trem arm is up too high. I need to work out how to lower it.

Is the 97 neck the long scale one? I've got a more recent short scale one and LOVE IT. I've got a crap strat trem on my Jagmaster body and the main problem is all that empty real estate south of the bridge - Giant Chrome Wigsby is obviously the answer.

I add my voice to the chorus of those loving the Wigsby - they look so weirdly cool.

Here we go.
I'm just waiting on some electronics. but everything else is done. I cut out the pickguard.
