Sorry for asking but i try to find out is my jagmasters Vista body the original vista...
So can you tell me did the vistas had the trem system with 2 screws into the body?
Oh the man who sold me this guitar told me that he put bigger block in to the trem system for better sustain...Dunno where the block comes from and dunno know how much it is tifferent from the original...Here is some poor pics of the trem
http://fotoalbum.ee/photos/ArtInts/sets/1248339" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Any info what to look on the body to know its a legit vista...
It seems pretty lightweight etc...
I really like it but as a little bit of a fan now i wanna know what i am dealing with:).
Thanks a lot and sorry for writing the questions on your topic:)

Looks like a Vista but i can't really tell from the pics you posted.
Non Vista Jagmasters have a swimming pool rout under the pickguard.

I used those pickups in my Electric VI (Squier VM JM body), with 500k pots:

I never got around to wiring it, but it would be a fun project for a rainy day.

I agree these are great bodies, first class platforms for a project... and prefinished to boot!

If someone could translate this diagram for me?
I just need to know how to wire it with the normal Jaguar pickup selectors.

The orange wire on the pickup selector is for the neck pickup switch, and the red one is the bridge. The blue one is the output from the switch and the black is ground.

so looking at this diagram
Image
you want your orange wire where their top black wire is and your red one where their white one is. The light blue goes where those middle black ones are. The black ground wire you have becomes redundant as your switches will be grounded by the plate (I think)

Thanks heaps.
Also, is there two capacitors I'm seeing on the extra tone pot? what is that about?

The little stripy brown rectangle looks like a resistor to me. I'm not sure why it's there.
