Looks like G&G Custom case, "Blue Poodle Velvet" interior, maybe B&W Tweed on the outside (?). My CS VI came in a black vinyl one with "Lipstick Red" on the inside. Nicely made, classic-style case.
It's not the guitar .... but I have serious GAS for that case!!!!!

Here's what the case exterior looks like, since there doesn't seem to be too many pictures on the webs:

So it's basically like a 60s Mustang case?HP Hovercraft wrote:Here's what the case exterior looks like, since there doesn't seem to be too many pictures on the webs:

Re: Johnny Marr Sig Jaguar
I ordered my JM Jag KO back in Feb thru a small independent shop and am told it ships May 29. Seems like the little indie shop goes at the end of the line. I'd much rather support them given the chance, and i did, rather than go thru MF. Trying to be patient, but the good reviews and pics are making it tough! I've looked at every demo on Youtube at least 5 times each to keep me sane. I hope some of you guys that got them early would post some demos. Would def help with my patience!

Does anyone know how to define the neck profile? I'm trying to get a conversion neck made for my jazzy and I'm not sure how to describe the weird 65 neck on the Jagumarr....

I haven't played one yet (see my pissing and moaning earlier in thread) but I belive the description might be "chunky "C""...shahirbear wrote:Does anyone know how to define the neck profile? EDIT: Someone posted a side shot picture of the neck compared to an avri i believe

Yeah...I own this guitar, and I can't define exactly what's so comfortable about it. The closest thing I can compare to is a 61 Reissue SG. Slim Tapered. The Jagumarr has a soft feel to it though...where the contour meets the fingerboard (comparing to my AVRI Jazzmaster)
BAH! I am trying to get a Warmoth neck made, but I want to get the neck correct lol.

Mine shipped today - or yesterday and I got notified today. Interesting that MF said it would ship on 4/18 when I ordered it and all the other notifications have been.... err.... errant.

A couple of TGPers have said the mustang bridge puts the high E string too close to the edge of the fretboardnateispro wrote:just went through the thread and it isn't helping my marr jag gas I hate the price of it but it does have a lot of nice features but still and that KO metallic is just amazing looking. It sits really close, but as I said on the TGP, it can be 'yanked' towards the upper bout a bit.
Seems to fix the issue for the most part.
Great guitar, though. I'm really enjoying it thus far!
Metallic KO is very nice. The paint is quite thin-skin though. I already chipped mine on the thin portion of the upper bout. A little clear nail polish sealed it right up.

so it sounds like the bridge isn't all that much of a problem? and while i hate to think about damaging a 1700 dollar guitar i bet that Metallic KO will look great worn in an relicedRocksoff wrote:It sits really close, but as I said on the TGP, it can be 'yanked' towards the upper bout a bit.

I'm counting on it,man! And no, the neck hasn't been a problem for me. It plays like it should. Of course, being a short scale of the Jag variety, it doesn't sustain as much as, oh say my 339 or whatnot, but what would?
