I wasn't going to say anything, cuz I was thinking about unloading these anyway, but I can never make up my mind if I want to keep one of them or get rid of both of them.  So, if someone's keeping score I don't know what to tell you...yet.

I don't have a thing for white SGs (the Gibby, a '69, just kinda fell into my lap) but I DO have a thing for SGs with vibrolas (or maestros, or lyres...whatever)
One more guitar, then I'll practice!

I like the look of Vibrola's too but I also found out the hard way at a gig what a pain they are to tune when you break a string and need to replace a string quickly...so I'm also on the fence about mine.

Yeah, IMHO they don't get the contours right - they're always too shallow.

Yeah, not only are they shallow, but the inner edge of the contour stays parallel with the outline of the guitar. On Gibsons, the bevel gets wider towards the bottom end of the guitar.

Even production Gibsons have shallow bevels relative to the originals, although I do prefer the contour of the horns on the modern ones...less pointy.

I dont have one but I do love them. I usd to have a standard 94 I think, and recently I had a goth g400 or whatever.

I really want an Angus Young model, or a 61 RI.

yes they are VERY cool guitars, and every man NEEEEEEEEEEEEEDS at least one!  ;)
they feel very different from any other guitar... and man, the ones with the p90s SOUND like no other.
i'd recommend trying to find those 80s or 90s epiphone SG jr. with one dog-ear p90. they can be found on ebay from 50 to 150 max. and are WAY unterrated. ok gotta be quiet now. heh hehe
