Wow, if it really looks like that I like it. A while back I posted some pics on tort guards, but don't recall seeing any Warmoth ones.

I have a Warmoth tort 'guard on my Tele...Looked great in the Ebay pic, but it's too dark. You can't see the tort unless it's in direct sunlight, otherwise it just looks black. That's okay, though, I like it a lot anyway...

You can see my Jag in the back too...

..plus warmoth doesn't cut the JM guards with a correct shape.. :-\
BTW I'm interested for a new tort guard, since the stock one on my cij has too much sentimental value now that has been signed by SY..
Architecture students are like virgins with an itch they cannot scratch, never build a building 'till are fifty, what kind of life is that?

The Tele one was an ill-fitting sumbitch, too! The right shape, but just a little off.
BTW, I don't recommend Warmoth products to anyone, due to the treatment of Tremolite and their other employees. I bought my 'guard used, before I heard all of this...

True. I kept looking at it and couldn't figure out where the difference was (thinking it was just the standard perimeter screw location difference), then I realized what it was - the guard ends before the bridge posts, whereas MIJ & MIA guards extend further back behind the bridge posts. So that's why they go to extremes to warn people that they aren't intended for vintage instruments.
I bought a second-hand Warmoth JM body a few months back and my friend is shielding it now. It came with what looks to be an MIJ pickguard (with guard extending under the bridge posts), but when I get it back I'll need to check on it.

Hmmm...pretty good looking guard. It appears to have some depth to it, and in areas there's just the yellow, like on some of the vintage guards. I wonder who they get their material from?
Nice tele, by the way!

Warmoth tort looks about the same as the AVRI stuff to me.
Times change. Remember when dog Jimmy used to go white and chalky? Now it grows hair! We got used to it. We'll get used to poly. -blueavenger

i think they made it that way so you can use any type of bridge without having to modify the guard.
