Beautiful build again, BTW!!
You think you can't, you wish you could, I know you can, I wish you would. Slip inside this house as you pass by.

slightly off topic but... that spray booth - is it all self made? how does it work? is it equipped with a dust/fume collector?

It's basically just a massive recess in the wall with a big fan at the back behind the filter (cardboard concertina with fibre particle trap behind). This is what it looked like just before it was finished:

I've since moved the table over to the side so I have full access to it. When the filter is clean, the fan sucks so hard I can only just open the workshop door. Eventually, I plan to build a small booth around it that I can stand in so I'm not having to worry about dust so much but it works ok for now.
I'll post a load of outdoor glamour shots tomorrow evening

This has reminded me once again that I must own one of Ben's guitars at some point in my life if I want to die happy

I'd love to know what you expected, seriously.s_mcsleazy wrote: not how i expected you to look. also i have that shirt
Thanks so much for all the kind comments, everyone.
I delivered the guitar this morning to a very shocked and surprised recipient. I couldn't really say anything earlier unless he saw this thread, but the wife of one of my oldest and closest friends commissioned me to make this in secret for his 40th birthday. He had absolutely no idea about this until we led him into his study this morning and showed him the case. Needless to say things got quite emotional...then quite loud

There are quite a few little details I couldn't share at the time in case they gave the game away:

Just uploading some nice outdoor shots...
