Anyone likes the Duesenberg Starplayer TV semi-hollows?

For guitars of the straight waisted variety (or reverse offset).

I still haven't run into one of these in person.  Now that you mention it, the trem arm looks a lot like the Chet Atkins Bigsby arms that I've recently fallen in love with and added to my Tele and Gretsch.  It's a lot more useable (and offset-like) than the stock flat Bigsby trem arms.

i read somewhere that the bodies are made in asia, then shipped to germany for final assembly and setting, so it's a semi-asian line! ;)

i tried a white starplayer tv few months ago (plugged in a fender supersonic amp) and... woah!
maybe the greatest guitar i've ever played 8)

Thanks for the info, fenderjeff. I thought that, like the Fender U.S./ Mexico model, they had an more expensive Deutsch line and a moderately priced Asian line.

Duesenbergs are great guitars, especially the Carl Carlton model! I wish they would bring out one of their hollowbody models without a bigsby...
