Price Check... 1977 Telecaster Custom

OK, here's the deal:

1977 Telecaster Custom (WRHP in neck and standard Tele bridge and pup). Original Walnut/Mocha finish with very minor wear. 3-bolt maple neck with bullet truss. Four tiny holes in headstock near bullet (locking nut?) that can barely be seen. Otherwise all original. Great frets and very resonant.

Any idea what this would sell for in a ballpark range?

P.S.  It's not mine, I'm not trying to place a FS ad outside the proper section. I'm looking at a potential purchase and don't know where else to check. eBay does not provide sufficient comps because it's an uncommon item...

In good condition eBay would likely fetch between $1800 - $2400 IMO.  Original case obviously would help and the two holes hurt.  Dealers typically ask around $2200-$3200 for these it seems in original condition.

Unfortunately, no case. But other than those tiny holes it's in wonderful condition!

The holes are a mystery, there's no other sign of any mods or abuse...
