Ah, I remember those Marshall days! Very fond memories indeed!
Now I have a Fender Vibrolux Reverb, and I usually plug into input #1 of the virato channel. Most of the time I use the bright switch in the on position also.

Only the ones that have the inputs in phase..if I don't go wrong fender twin reverbs are out of phase, so you will be quiter and brighter..
That's why I want a bassman..

yeah, non-reverb Fenders are jumper-able

I usually plug into the high input and jumper the vibrato and normal (ef86) channels on my JMI AC15, and adjust the tone by blending the volumes. On the AC30 I prefer the low gain input on the top boost channel. On the voxes I never set the tone controls more than half way. On the Bandmaster reverb, usually the vib #1. Occasionally I'll use the normal channel for a more raw sound.

WOW, zhivago, that's almost exacly my old rig....(I used a JCM 900 cab instead) Man, what a sound....Sold the JCM 4x12" cab shortly after the band I played in quited.yeah, non-reverb Fenders are jumper-able
Sure made my JM sound HUGE....
