guess it's too bad I sold my '68 AB763 for $850 2 years ago.

Oh well, I got the brown super-amp instead and that thing is way cooler than that twin was.

I  believe Weber is making a Brown Super kit now too...

I'll agree on the silverfaces being a bargain but Champs have reached insane prices lately (~$300) for such a simple low-watt amp.

I hadnt seen a SF master volume twin for less than 800 bucks in Dallas in forever and they're seem to be fetchin a grand pretty easy around here. But like øøøøøøø said, here everyone has a big car to move stuff in so the smaller stuff seems to go for less.

yeah, when I lived in Denton, TX I loved my old Twin.  I had it in an anvil case and it ruled.  As soon as I got to the NYC metro area I dropped it fast.  It was like a big, impractical boat anchor and it didn't get turned on for the first year I lived here, so I sold it for something slightly smaller.

best amp ever.
One of the best.  All of the brownface amps are killer IMO, but they aren't cheap anymore.  I bought a MINT, as in looked brand new when I unboxed it, Super for $800 around 1995 or so.  It would easily bring $2500 these days.  That's one of the few amps that I really wish I still had.
Thread killer
