I'm in the same boat. A Sherwood Green compstang is just about my dream guitar, but that price is too rich for my blood right now.

Showing as £599 on the UK site, but only with a "notify me" button, so I'm sure that price will change once it's available

Sadly not! It's £1049 on website now, but I had some artist discount which made it hard to say no to.

I find it interesting these new editions show "Made In Ensenada" on the back of the headstock instead of "Made In Mexico". Perhaps this will turn into a CIJ vs MIJ type thing! ;D

I think the swap is there since 2023. My 2024 Vintera II 70th Anniversary Strat has "Made in Ensenada" written on back.
