Details on this? Did you just drop the entire bridge into a tub of regular white vinegar?
If so, sounds like a easy fix to saddle-rattle.

Nah, I just poured some vinegar in the bottom of a tupperware contanier, taped the bridge to the lid and sealed it tightly so that the fumes could go to work. I didn't soak it because I didn't want it to end up really rusty, just dulled a bit, but I forgot and left it in overnight so this is what about 12 hours looks like. It doesn't buzz now but it was a new bridge so I have no idea if it would have buzzed before.

Haha, thanks. Yeah, Duplicolor is great to use since you can spray it one day and sand it the next day, there's no 30 day wait time. It's also nice and convenient to be able to go down to the local CT to get some more if you run short like I did. Oh yeah, and feel free to steal as many ideas as you want.
Totally freakin' awesome! Looks better than quote "re-issue" models, they got no mojo! Wanna trade?!?!
No dice!

Thanks, I went ahead and did this and it worked pretty well. The vinegar spilled though and it seemed that the nail-polish I had on the screws came off. After it was fully rusted and dried I reapplied the nail polish. No more buzz

Yeah, my bridge is working great too. The screws are a bit stiffer now but everything will still turn fine. I'm buzz-free and lovin' it!!!

Are those dots the aged clay? they look great.
Did you have Musikraft predrill the neck heel holes? I assume it all lined up well and the neck was dead straight when bolted to the body?

Those are the real aged clay dots. I like them, they don't look exactly like vintage dots from up close, but they still look nice and way better than stark white imo. I had holes pre-drilled and everything lined up perfectly. One thing to keep in mind with Musikraft is that their slab boards are really thick, like 1/4 inch, so if you're going for total vintage accuracy you might want to check with them about that.

If you don't mind me asking, how did you install all of the brass plates into the control cavities?
