Yes, all work was done by me. It was a Sonic Blue Squier VM Jazzmaster. I changed it to Ocean Turq and reliced all the parts and body out. I used a bunch of techniques off the internet and listening to Fender Custom Shop gurus.
Glad you like!

I did the same basic mod/upgrades as Fullerplast. The only thing left that is Squier is the body. I've played Jazzmasters and Strats since the 60s and never played a Jag so I went with the Squier to give it a try and I loved it. I have to admitt that for $299 Squier's can't be beat. BTW, I already had 90% of the upgrade parts from previous projects.

I'm not that pleased by the looks of those, but the're sweet to play and i love the sound it makes. I would be glad to find one in my price range.

What neck is on the Jag? And, what is the other guitar?

He's posted pictures of the other guitar before... Pretty sure he built it himself. It's like a hybrid Jazzmaster and 72 Telecaster Custom. A Telemaster Custom, if you will. He could probably offer more details than that, though.
And yeah, I'm curious about the Jag's neck too. At first, I just dismissed it as a CBS styled Strat neck, but that wouldn't work because of the scale length. I'm guessing it's from some MIJ/CIJ Mustang that came with a maple fretboard? Or maybe a custom/aftermarket replacement? I don't know if I've ever seen any Fender-made Jaguars that offer a maple fretboard, but who knows, there are way too many Fender Japan concotions out there to keep tabs on them all.
