ughhhhh
Normal Fender reliability aside, this Bassman head has to go. For anyone who hasn't been familiar with my situation already, I've had to fix this thing a few times. Once it was my fault, but a few other times it's been for kind of dumb shit. I'm really sick of it. The speaker inputs on it have been making a weird noise and I'm sick of fixing it. That coupled with kind of my never really cottoning to the sound of it completely, just.. blehh
So that being said, I plan to start poking around for a new head. Preference for something a bit on the cheaper side (I'm looking at Peaveys), and must be able to handle 4 ohms (I really love my 15" speaker cab). Two channels would be awesome, seperate EQs cool but not absolutely essential. I'd like a decent clean to run as an effects platform, and more classic rockish kind of overdriven channel (high gain metal not neccessary, I have pedals for my fuzzy wonkiness).
So far, I'm looking into Peavey Valvekings, Classic 100s, and possible cheaper Boogies like the F-Series.
Any other suggestions?

hm, that's a thought. Basically seems like a similar idea.
