Greetings all,
Is there anyone among you that can help me identify this guitar?

Several years ago I came across these photos of a really neat custom Mustang guitar. It appears to be all mahogany with a nicely bound body, Filtertrons, an interesting peghead shape and a really neat little pickguard. I didn't bookmark the site where I found the photos so I've no way to backtrack but I'd love to track down whom ever is making (or made) this guitar.
Thanks in advance!

I don’t know, but it reminds me of something Saul Koll would have done as a custom one-off. It’s not in his regular line up, but he does do offsets on custom orders.
The bound mahogany body, unique pick guard shape and Filter’Tron pickups are all in his wheelhouse. He’s not cheap though, but I doubt whoever else might have built it, sold it cheaply either.

Thanks, I've emailed Saul to see if it's one of his. I agree the pickup / pickguard / bridge arrangement looks like it could be one of his. I'll let you know what I find out!

Yeah, the control placement too. For some reason he likes to put them in a line with the pickup switch almost out of reach. He must be one of those errant strummers that’s always hitting the switch unintentionally.
Good luck with your quest, it is a stellar looking guitar.
