Marshall JCM900 Half-Stack Pricing

Post by 5L1V3R » Fri May 16, 2008 6:03 pm

How much is a reasonable Marshall JCM900 4100 100-watt Head and a Marshall JCM900 1960A 4x12 Cab?  I've seen $1500 for the half stack but that seems a little steep.

Yeah, I'd say you're right on that one.
If it's a matching set, you should be able to get it for maybe a bit over a grand I'd say... just watch the craiglists

although I'll be honest with you, those matching 1960A cabs are really overrated. I played my friend's head through his.. and it sounded wretched, way nicer through my Fender 2x15... but then again, I may have different tonal preferences  ;)

avatar all the way for 4x12s!

I'd say $600 for the head and $400 for each cab; it's just going to depend on the buyer at the time.
Good Deals: Casbah, Dren68

Thats way too much.. I paid $800 for mine, this was a few years back..
But back then the 900 was more in vogue..
