I didn't realize a Jaguar had a different horn... that makes sense. Another element I would take into account is the location of the strap-button, if you put it on the upper cutaway, chances are that the you'll get neck dive. A safest & more balanced place would be either on the back of the neck plate.

I was playing with the paper and came to the same conclusion. I think I can just move it over. Still need to decide if I really like it. I might just cut out the guard and stick it on with double-sided tape. I did that with my Cabromaster and have never bothered screwing it to the body.
