Re: Bass amps?
i have a pair of parts-made p-basses that i've had for years... tried a bunch of others but i keep coming back to the ol' stand-by's.
i used to use a Matamp GTO for an amp, but i've been getting into a deeper, cleaner bass tone lately so i picked up this beauty:

the head is a Yamaha BA100 II... it's amazing, waaaaay more powerful than the 100 watts it claims.

My mid 70's SVT and Bergantino NV425. I replaced the grill cloth on both.

Re: Bass amps?
i use my Laney Supergroup for guitar as well as bass.. got loads of bottom end, even with the bass-knob turned to null.
gets you a sweet Entwistle-type sound at around 4.. crank it and you could be playing for OM!

70s P bass .. I have no bass amp right now but my old rig, currently in storage, is a Gallien-Kruger 400RB head through a 4x10" bin.
