Hello,
does anyone know how deep the routing for a vintage electric xii bridge should be?
Thank you very much

Re: Routing Electric XII Bridge
This is how I route my bodies:

saddle block route 12.7mm deep...it is enough for block, resting on the base plate, to be flush with the guard.
Hight can be adjusted with two allen screws.

String anchor 8mm deep with 2mm deep recess for the "lip"
Hope it helps.

The lip doesn't necessarily need to be recessed but if you have the skills, then why not.
But they are not recessed in the vintage model.

I do recess 'em....so it can't pass as "original". Even if people stick "Fender" on the neck
