NGD - Epiphone Casino Inspired by John Lennon

In a departure from my usual, I got a sunburst one. I normally don't do sunburst but it's an archtop and they look great in sunburst so...

Love so far. Gibson P90s are great, they come RWRP from the factory, too, unlike my Gibson Tribute, which I had to mod to make RWRP. And unlike most Epiphones I've played, this came from the factory with the truss rod set up perfectly, it was easy to dial in the action by just turning the thumbwheels a bit. Sounds beautiful unplugged, too.

Plug into my Vox AC15HW1X (in the 1964 trim, courtesy of North Coast):

Then I got bored so I started trying to play Mozart on it (AC4C1 because it was getting late):

Thanks for posting, like the Mozart 8) the Casino looks beautiful.

The Inspired Casino is my current obsession, I like the VS but may go with the Natural just because I like that more.

From near I can tell you and I have many similarities in gear like Vox and guitars.
Thank GOD I'm not religious!

I think the Inspired by John Lennon is well worth the price. Especially when you consider that it has Gibson USA pickups and a hard case (and a Switchcraft jack), the price is justified and it should be excellent out of the box and need nothing at all to make it a grab-and-go guitar. I like the Natural, too, but I wanted a glossy finish. I was really impressed by the quality and sound. Plus, it's hollow so it's awesome for playing unplugged around the house. It's very sweet and chimey even acoustically.

Vox is :-* in an amp for me. I love the way they look and also how they sound (even though I use Roland in my band most). I want a jacket made of Vox grill cloth.

Happy NGD!
That's a sweet looking Casino. How do you find the neck width? If I recall those Inspired by Lennon Casinos have pretty narrow nuts - I take it that you're getting on alright with it?

Wow, great job on the Mozart. I'm a big Mozart fan myself. Also a big fan of the guitar. About two weeks ago I was all set to buy one of these, but I was sidetracked. Now you have me thinking I made a mistake.
