Common amp modifications?
I recently had removable casters installed on my Vox AD120VT combo, and it got me thinking: what other useful amp modifications might be commonplace among wiser men than I? I've modded almost every guitar I've ever owned, but I don't know much about amps or what might make them sound better. Any suggestions?

I had my Bandmaster unmodded and then added a so-called “soul control” in the extra hole in the back. That is a very easy mod that I found in an old Guitar Player. It’s a pot that removes the negative feedback loop gradually. Changing the sound more towards brownface if desired.

Hey, I did that "Soul Control" mod to my old Vibrolux Reverb too. It's been that way for a long time. I am thinking about taking it out. I can't really remember how the amp sounded before I did the mod.

If you turn the pot fully clockwise (I think) it will sound like stock blackface.
