Simple question in the hope that it'll help me get on with my Whipple Wah build today....
Here's the old, trampy looking pot....
The wires lead to one of these horrible, PCB-mounted junction box thingies (totally confusing for me)....
Please excuse my hi-tech shielding technique. Paper's all I had at hand!
This is the sexy new pot that's part of the Whipple build....
I want to record the old wah before I rip its guts out but it's not working. I bought it cheap with the intention of pimping it out so I never actually tested it. Doh!
As far as I know, it never worked in the first place & the seller was laughing his head off when I never asked for a refund.
So, I'm hoping the pot's the problem. When I plugged it in a few days back I got either a bypassed signal or a scratchy pot with no wah effect at all.
Which wire goes where on the newer pot?
Black - ?
Blue - ?
Yellow - ?
My guess would be Black - 1, Blue - 2, Yellow - 3 but I could be wrong.
