Has anyone ever played either of these? Im looking at buying my first all tube amp and these look pretty cool.

A friend tried the Epiphone and really liked it... plus, they're not overly expensive.

Yeah, the Epiphone sounds like a wicked amp, tube rectifier, half power switch, interactive eq and cathode bias. I've heard that the stock tubes make the amp sound really thin though.

I've read about it on harmonycentral's user reviews... but one says it sounds like heaven, the other says the
speakers need to be broken in, the other says something about the tubes... I guess the only way to find out
is to try some yourself... not looking forward to hang in a guitar store for hours... shredding. Haha.

Hah, yeah. I think I might just buy it and do a tube change.
