I'm really wanting to make a scratch-built lap steel/console steel guitar (love me some Bug Eyes from Dredg and want to experiment) so, I thought "there are some very talented people around here who either probably have one or have built one", so show 'em if you've got 'em!!
EDIT: I didn't realize it should've been on this forum instead of the non-offset forum and as there were no replies, I just deleted and re-posted in the correct sub-forum

This is my 66. Not really sure of the model (Champ student?), I know Fender had plenty. Got it on the cheap and it really turned me on lapsteel. Love this little guy, I've been using it a lot for scoring a TV show.

The finish is the original (still got the "pool table" lining on the back), which was a cream/white for most if not all fender laps. It faded to a beautiful yellow/brownish hue which reminds me of smoked mozzarellaShadoweclipse13 wrote:Love it!
