Re: 2017 AMERICAN PROFESSIONAL JAZZMASTER/JAGUAR
I've got far too many Jaguars without a proper Jazzmaster, I think I might give one of these a try. I'm not super excited about that switch position, wish it was where it usually is. Curious to hear the pickups, and to see the Jazz in the Sonic Grey. It's either the grey or olympic white. And I'm probably going to take out that screw in tremolo system.

Re: 2017 AMERICAN PROFESSIONAL JAZZMASTER/JAGUAR
The bridge is similar to the TVL Jazzmaster, saddles made out of brass, with the plastic inserts to keep the bridge from dropping down (like on the Marr bridge too).
Not crazy about overwound pickups but we'll see what the cognoscenti have to say about them when they are released - I'm predicting some pickup swapouts.
Finally a nicer selection of colours.

Re: 2017 AMERICAN PROFESSIONAL JAZZMASTER/JAGUAR
I WANT ONE and I WILL HAVE ONE.
It have all the things I want. Re-designed bridge, maple neck, deep C neck (never liked modern C neck and I prefer necks on the beefy side), cool colors, modern pickups. I will probably sell alot of gear to buy one, but I will buy it.
I have a a CS58 ans a AVRI62 for vintage specs.

Has anyone seen what that single toggle on the jag upper control plate does? I'm hoping for a Series/parallel toggle and not something silly like a kill switch.

I haven't seen anything on it yet. If I had to guess... I'd guess that the pickup switch is a four-way and the upper switch is a universal bright switch like on the Johnny Marr Jag.mbene085 wrote:Has anyone seen what that single toggle on the jag upper control plate does? Yes! I have the feeling that this day, 11/9, 2016, will go down in history as the day the American Pro Jaguar and Jazzmaster finally appeared on this beautiful planet. Awesome!

This is a larger photo example of the "Antique Olive" color on a 2017 Shawbucker Stratocaster.

Cool, but will they be available left-handed?
