For guitars of the straight waisted variety (or reverse offset).

Holy shit thanks for enlightening me to Lonelady, great stuff! Hope you are enjoying the (baffling) new Grouper.
She's great, probably the current guitarist I enjoy most, she's at the very least never annoying and always plays to the song but beyond that she's got a perfect pure style for her music. In her words she 'cordons off the rock'. I'd recommend both her albums particularly Hinterland.
She give good cameo too her most recent remix/semi cover of
Wrangler's Space Ace with guitar so sharp you could cut yourself.
I like the Grouper or Nivhek as she's going by.
D
She's one of my current favorites, too. Hat tip to D. She's got this perfect thing going on that reminds me of Talking Heads, Gang Of Four, Joy Division, and Chic. All filtered through her unique mind.
A top artist here at Bobbington Manor.

I got quite a strong vibe of what I used to like about Foals, too. Will definitely investigate further.

offset guitars resident bass player.

That Greco is a nice looking guitar!
As for Lonelady, she did some interesting stuff with Jah Wobble a few years back. He remains an incredible bass player, but the quality of his work depends entirely on who he's collaborating with. She helped him shine, at least compared to that fart jazz stuff he's doing these days.

Thank you!
And holy cow! This:
But there is more. Recorded in Stockport, Huddersfield and Manchester, Psychic Life even includes the scintillating guitar of one Keith Levene,

Essentially, Lonelady got to record with half the classic PIL lineup!

Forgot to add this happy little picture - it's kind of scary how this 70s knockoff Fender and a solid-state practice amp are able to do pretty much *anything*.

Goes to show it's not about the gear.

Awesome. That’s a classy guitar. An ex bandmate of mine has a brown one, “spacey sounds” model, and it always sounded great.
His was a little smaller than a Fender.

The Pathfinder is one of the few things I've ever bought that 100% lived up to the hype.
I'd eventually like to find a second one for a stereo rig, or even better one of the heads.
