Not the point, exactly, but the tort on all of these looks better than anything the Custom Shop is putting out right now.
Totally agree!

Most of the tort since CV line happened had been really nice!

I bought a CV Jag last year, and the tort is really nice. I wasn’t expecting it to be so nice.

I like the green tele. I think the tortoise pickguard doesn't suit it at all, but in a way I like minor things being wrong like that - it's a very quick and easy thing to change to personalise it.

A 70s Jazzmaster would be really cool.

Squier did a FSR of a 70's Jazzmaster in the last couple of years, in lake placid blue and walnut with a maple board. And they are very cool!

Seeing how things have been going for the last few years, maybe we'll finally see the first $1k Squier?
Well, the anniversary ones from a couple of years ago ended up being a major sales (and QC) failure, and quickly.ended up being reduced to normal Squier prices, similar to the Classic Vibes.

So I think we're not quite there yet.
Well, shit, Epiphone is already at $2k and calling it affordable so why not.

Anyway, I'd like to see more maple boards with black blocks, binding & pickguard.

And maybe a JM with a long Vibrola and FB pickups while they're at it? Or is there even enough room for a Vibrola on a JM body?

JM Jr. with a dog-ear P90?

Yeah, now I definitely don't want one of those. Like, immediately. Damn.

I'd love to see them do a Jazzblaster with WRHBs for the Paranormal series, or a halfway accurate Maverick with XII pickups and CBS headstock. I imagine that's just wishful thinking though.
