Menu overlapping is a function of the browser window size I would think. With the window sized at 1024 width you shouldn't have any of that. If your display is 800x600 the site is simply too wide to accommodate that. Plus, you're in the vast minority of folks browsing the site as well.

I'm in 1680 x 1050, so I don't think it's a resolution issue.

Post a screenshot then so I can see what your talking about because I get no issues with the layout in any common modern web browser.
