Re: Mercury guitars anyone? (Original Fender Venus?)
Thanks Talkingbook. I will try it on for size tonight. Thanks for the input. It didn't even cross my mind. Oh yeah. I also think that songs in the key of life is one of the greatest albums of all time. Like my friend says, "It's the Fleetwood Mac 'Rumors' for black people". Those two albums perfectly encapsulate the era in which they were made. Just tried out the comma. It's exactly what it needed.

How about a dash instead of a comma?

i think it looks just fine with no punctuation between denver and colorado.
everyone knows you're not talking about denver, nc.

I wouldn't do gold, personally- combined with the font it looks too fendery to me.

Yes there will be a website. It will come a bit later. I am working on a few other priorities now. There are a ton of things we have to remember from the past and set up fixtures etc. We forgot how much work it takes. I have a daughter coming into the world next month so I will be a little distracted. I am nocturnal though and will forge ahead. I just installed 80,000 BTUs in my garage for the winter. Life is good...and warm.-Tim

Just bought a high end fence for my table saw. Secured access to a high end paint booth with a paint mixing station on site. I have been learning the CNC program that we will use for the router. It's pretty straight forward. Sorry I haven't posted in a while but my daughter was born a few weeks ago and normalcy is finally here. I also wired my home shop for 220v in case we have to make them here. More soon.-Tim

Just read through this whole thread. Congrats on the family, and congrats on the business! I hope you guys will be making some new designs too (once you're raking in the bucks, of course ).clickeye wrote:Just bought a high end fence for my table saw. Re: Mercury guitars anyone? (Original Fender Venus?)
Yep. Danny helped me assemble the restored 1939 table saw tonight. I also came across a huge stock of hardwood for very cheap today. I bought a large woodworking vise and a beautiful Delta Jointer with a cast iron base. Danny will be passing by the "Grizzly" tool headquarters and picking up a 24" x 36" granite surface plate for precision work. Might get a precision stationary over arm router from an estate too. We have decided to start in the fall as Danny is quite busy and I have a furniture show in late August. We really want to set up the shop nicely so we can enjoy the process. I know it seems a little crazy but we are both picky about a nice work space since this is more of an experience for us than a business. Sorry for the lack of updates, I have been working on a motorcycle project for the Jay Leno Garage show. I have trouble putting photos up here so check them out on my design blog if you want. -Tim
