Anyone ever play any Dano guitars?

For guitars of the straight waisted variety (or reverse offset).

You can do that with a Dano baritone: same scale length as a 6 string bass (30 inches) - the only difference is that you don't have monster bass machine heads, but then neither does the Bass VI. To convert a bari to a VI, all you do is give the truss rod a tweak, put on a set of Bass VI strings, and re-intonate.* Even better, as Dano's have removable aluminium nuts, buy a spare one, and have one filed for six string bass, one for baritone. This convertability is why I bougt a Dano bari, but now I've got it, I enjoy playing it B-B too much to even bother trying to tune it down any further.

* I've never tried this, obviously, but I'm sure it's this easy. A man on the internet once told me so.

Oh boy. That's like the 8th guitar I've added to my "To Buy" list this week.

I just bought a Denelectro Baritone a month ago for 100$ CDN and I can't stop playing it!!! Best 100$ I've spent in a very long time!

I agree with Jonas and StevenO that it sounds great unplugged and it sounds terrific and unlike anything else in an amp!
Actually I missed out on one of those at Guitar Center. The only problem I would have with it is its lack of a truss rod.
But it did sound very good.

I played one of those the other day.  Sweet guitar that was surprisingly comfortable to play.  The fretboard seems really short, but for the price you can overlook a lot of flaws.  I would take one in a heartbeat.  Hell it was priced about as much as an expensive pedal.

I was planning on buying a Tangerine one this Friday, following a week of exams and coursework.

£150 BIN including shipping.

Some lucky fucker snatched it up yesterday. And I refuse to compromise with black, navy blue or gold. Tangerine or surf green.
Don't you know that's sinful boy?
