my favorite colors on strats are sonic blue and olympic white. both with rosewood board and mint guard.

My vote went to "other". Sunburst is what I have in mind. But I guess that's hard to do if you're (re)finishing it yourself.

Yeah, I'm doing it myself...

no sunburst.

There seems to be a lot of Sonic blue guys out there.

You don't think it's going to be too "pale" if I choose the sonic blue since I allready got the maple cap neck??

I voted dakota red and ice blue metallic.

I really just prefer white, I dont like black strats. Except black with tort pickguards

I dunno, strats are kinda meh to me...

Charcoal Frost metallic is what I would go for - esp. with a tinted nitro clearcoat.

Then again, I have no taste. I also like Mocca Brown 70s strats.

I don't really have a preference, but if I'm painting it, I have my ideas of what color/style of hardware goes with what finish. It often depends on the guitar and how much chrome stuff it has.

my vote goes for the sonic blue. not a fan of maple necks, i think rosewood looks better with blue, but it will work with the maple as well. runner-up would be seafoam green. i have a seafoam green strat (with rosewood) and it's an eyecatcher.

i really like that black strat, im glad i bought aged knobs and pu covers recently. my black strat has been through a lot..so im replacing a few things and making it playable/enjoyable to play again

i really like my oly white strats too, especially aged and beat up, like john frusciantes on this pic

It's more than the strat that looks aged and beat up on that pic.
