TA-DAH!
It's a fantastic guitar. I call mine "Sterling, " after Doctor Morrison.

It's a telecaster shape, wine red finish (or something in the way) with a black special shaped pickguard, 2 gretsch "tron" like pickups, black headstock...
I'd like to find further info but I can't find it on the web since I don't even know what brand it is. I think it's a Fender but I'm not sure and can't find it on fender.com
Any link, infos, pictures will be welcome..
Instead of the tele-sonic proposed above, could KOYL be referring to to currently-in-production Gretsch Special Jet? Here is a link (I need to learn how to embed photos

)

I very much like the look and specs of this guitar - I've been interested in one since I first saw it.

Just right-click on the image and then click on Properties. Then copy and paste the URL address in between the [image] brackets...

One more guitar, then I'll practice!

I don't think so. Fender owns Gretsch. It'd be like Coke suing Coke Zero.

The important thing is that my avatar makes people think.

Not to mention that that basic body shape has been around almost as long as the Telecaster. And Fender either never trademarked or let the trademarks on their body designs lapse, which is why there are a million strat and tele shaped guitars in the world.
