Offset or non offset- waist guitar?

For guitars of the straight waisted variety (or reverse offset).

........NO WAIST CONTOUR!
;D

Sorry for the bad pic , no light today..this is of a friend of mine, he gave it to me just for a little repair (a pot has gone loose)..it's a Jim Reed, a clone of a vox teardrop..price paid about 250€..it's probabily made of poor wood, but it has some nice kent armstrong PUs that come with cloth wire, a Bigsby (Higly unuseable cuz it's strung with .9s) , roller bridge and a modern fretboard (flat radius and big frets..)
And of course it's cool as hell!!!
8)

BTW it's not bad at all, it's making me think about bigger frets on my JM too..really, I could try a replacement neck with medium jumbos..mmmm

They look like eggplants stuck on a pole.
They are interesting though.

I like them alright, but I think it really takes the right kind of person to play one.

I am not that kind of person.  :'(
