It's a '65 clone.
This one started as a new Agave Blue MIM body from one of those eBay choppers. The neck is an Allparts CBS neck that I stained with colonial maple and cleared with nitro. The headstock is Pontiac Engine Enamel that is a pretty close match to IBM (as is Agave Blue, IMO). The decal is not great, but was the best I could get at the time. Tuners are Ping Klusons. The nut is TUSQ pre-slotted. The fake neck plate is L5... although a later L8 or 9 (or an F-plate) would have been more realistic. I don't know what I was thinking at the time.
I loaded it with the (then) new Fender "Vintage Noiseless" pickups, which are essentially stacked humbuckers, cloth wire, standard 5 way switch, CTS pots and an orange drop. The bridge is standard MIM with Fender/Fender saddles. I used an aftermarket white guard and hand-filed the little truss rod scoop in it.

No, I haven't gone $trat crazy. This is the last one I'll post here because I ran out...
