This arrived today from Thomann. its lovely but it hasn't solved the problem of my fingers tripping over themselves when playing the bouncing guitar riff of 'What difference does it make'.

Yeah, mine does that, too...I think it's a common problem. :) Lovely! Happy NGD!

Johnny Marr was interviewed, Wednesday on 6 music. The Sherwood Jag was mentioned (very) briefly. A guy had text into the show saying he was struggling to get hold of one.

Johnny's reply was ''Maybe they'll make more?''

Thanks everyone, I must admit I was a bit suprised (having never got to play the white one), when i received it in that it was much lighter than my AVRI 62 jag which is built like a tank in comparison. The general feel of the Johnny Marr, coupled with the lighter gauge strings that it comes with makes it feel a bit more like a tele. Really enjoying it.

Greta, where are you from? Did you get the one on Thomann that was listed *very* briefly as being in stock, or did they get more than just that one? Regardless, congratulations on a beautiful guitar!

That green is awesome.

Just curious, can anyone tell me whether the JM jag comes already strung up with flatwounds? Or is that extra set of flats thrown in just in case you don't like the rounds that are on it?

I'm currently in Greece. I bought it a week last Sunday I think, it had been on for a couple of days, on the Monday the order got confirmed and the stock listing disapeared.

They come with rounds, 10's I think, with a set of flats (11's?) with the case candy.

The burning question for me is: Will the Sherwood Green finish chip and flake as easily as the Oly White and KO. If so, I'm done chasing one of these. To see that Sherwood flake within months would break my heart. Too beautiful.
