Has anyone made a new body using their vintage JM body as a template?

MR.M or vintage forum body owners, feel any different about sending your baby off to Musikraft, asked them if they would do a JM they said all they needed was a vintage body to copy and they would start making them, might even get a free body out of it,least that's what i would ask for if i sent them mine, wich i don't have or i would.

How funny - I just ordered a tele neck from them.  I would have sent them my 61 JM for a free neck/body if I hadn't just sold it literally a week ago.  They used to do a copy of a 59 Jazzmaster neck - I saw it on ebay a few times back when their website was just a placeholder.  This was probably about two-three years ago.  You might ask them if they still have those plans...

No, while the neck shape and width may have varied somewhat, the pre-CBS Jazzmaster always featured it's own unique headstock (different from $trat). The only exceptions are prototypes and possibly some pre-production examples.
Q. Are we not men?

I think they already offer a Jazzmaster shape headstock
Times change.  Remember when dog Jimmy used to go white and chalky?  Now it grows hair!  We got used to it. We'll get used to poly. -blueavenger
