Is it wrong to want a second Jaguar

Post by Infliktor » Mon Nov 13, 2006 7:01 pm

Originally.... I thought Id buy a Jazzmaster after receiving my Jaguar.

But the scale length of the Jaguar feels so natural and way better than my 25 1/2 scale guitars even better than my Les Paul......I am wanting another Jag.

There's nothing wrong with that  :)  Multiples of everything are good, I think. I have 4 Jazzmasters and two Jaguars, yet I still want to buy/build more  ::)

You MUST have a spare. What if something happened to your only jag? (god forbid)

Lay down the couch for a while... Here the Dr. Ahahah's diagnosis :

That's a sickness, for sure... But not that serious given you just have one (and as far as I understand, soon 2) Jaguar.

The trouble would be far more disturbing if you already had 200 guitars. Might be falacious from my part to say that, you may have 200 guitars... 8)

Either way... If you feel philantropic enough to buy me a fourth Jaguar as subjected above, you'll receive all my gratitude in return. Honest !

I accept all major credit cards  :D

It can be cured.

You need to get a 2nd jAGUAR ;D The feeling should subside. Or you could use a substitute such as a Jazzmaster which will bond with the same pleasure receptors in your brain.

The danger of this cure is if it not carefully supervised it can result in dual addiction.  :o

1+1+1+1+... = someday you'll be in search for a Duosonic, a Musicmaster, a couple of Bass VI, a Mustang, a Swinger, a Marauder (good luck)...

I know about the disease : I'm ill too, but I've suffered from it... Best way to get psycho... ;)

When I bought a '64 Jag, I decided I wanted another one.  Almost bought a '65.  Sold the '64 and bought a AVRI JM and now want a vintage one as my second.  I'm sure I'll want a third after that!

Well since I have more than one Jazzmaster I can't say that you're wrong to want a second Jag.

it's never wrong to want another guitar of a type you like.

and anyway, when they are different colors, they sound different.

I've got a mid 90's CIJ '62 Jag reissue and an early 00's CIJ Jag JGS-78.  There's nothing wrong with having more than two Jags.
