IL mio fender visto che il marshal scureggia col big muff!  ;D

BTW the guy that makes the job for my borther's marhsall has a fender deluxe wich he has put in two EL84s instead of the common 6L6s..he says now it's fantastic..the next time I go to him il bring my guitar, if it's good I'll give him mine!

Ha, same thing happened to mine a few years ago.  But instead of it being fine and nothing happening I had melted a tube and blew a few fuses.  Haha, yeah, the horrible smell of amp smoke!

Yay! The amp is back!
It has been revalved with two svetlanas EL84 (matched by him), it comes that the bias was totally wrong..he says something like it was on 25db, when El34s has a limit on 23db..BTWnow it has been setted on 12db for  better picking dynamics..and a special resistor has been put for preventing transformer from blowing..
Soundwise now it really sounds fantastic, it can get that AC/DC sound very well at low volumes too, very sparkly and sustaining..AWESOME!
(keep in mind I'm not a marshall fan..)
8)

P.S.
The smart man (the tech) has been so kind to let me try his Hot Rod Deluxe that he has personally modded putting two EL84s and a whole lot of other changes here and there..I think I'm going to open another thread for it..

This must be a common thing for Marshall amps, because the same thing happened with my JCM 900 (2300) head. In actually smoked a tube and thought I maust have gotten a bad one, so I replaced it. I ended up smoking it too.
