Did Fender ever make a Strat with block inlays and/or binding during the CBS years? Just curious. 'Cause I've certainly never seen one.

They did but they're very rare. Probably only a handful exist. I've seen a pic of one, a long time ago.

there's one with binding on ebay right now.  Or at least there was yesterday.
