To save a Jazzmaster...

Post by mcjt » Mon Feb 04, 2008 2:14 pm

Maybe you ALL have this saved on your HD. I thought i would share in case some of you haven't. it was a 22meg PDF that i turned into page by page jpegs- only way for Flickr to work.
it's a blow by blow restoration of a badly treated 63 JM.
i'll put the 1st page, then the links to the others-
Enjoy!

If you want, this topic can be removed. I saw it only once some time ago and never again- so i thought i might have found it elsewhere than OSG. My bad.

I can't believe this... I'm came home to visit my folks and was cleaning out a closet full of git magazines when I came across this very ISSUE!  my cover is missing but I used to drool over this.... I"ve since restored my jazzmaster but it was never quite as bad as the one on the cover!

I've gone through mine a billion times.

I picked up my copy in Athens, Greece juts before boarding a flight to move to London...it's been a prized posesion for years and years...the pics of the Chinery Collection Jazzmasters are also killer!  8)
