hey Michael...yeah, I was kinda thinking I can get the one on the bay to use, send my #1 to MAJ, get it fixed (hopefully it'll be a cheap fix), and then send the other one to MAJ as well, once I get the #1 back.

basically we got more and more gigs...it's all getting bigger gig-wise, so I need to have 2 HHs onstage, one for a backup.

I love these amps...I can never thank you enough for turning me onto them :)

it can turn out terrible having to play another amp all of a sudden...

If I was gigging, and this was an essential amp to my sound.. id definatly go this route...
Nothing wrong with redundancy, especially when dealing with older electronics..

If I'm not mistaken it's the MA100 PA head - here's a photo (top one):

Here's a silly, semi-related question: are these things PCB-based or are they hand-wired?  Is there such a thing as a hand-wired solid-state amp?

As far as I know all of the HH gear is PCB-based.

I did not updated the thread I created about mine but I finally be able to try it with a cab and this is an incredible amp: I was VERY surprised with the distorded sound which is like Zhivago said very close to what you cabn get with a SHOB or Super Duper, very dynamic..
Honestly, I thought of selling it since I have a Tiny Terror but I tried it and decided to keep it: it worth 10 time the money I paid for it !
