You know, whoever said Jazzmasters didn't sound good overdriven or distorted is smokin crack! I love the tone of this thing! I really like the neck pickup. I'm probably gonna just upgrade the bridge pickup.
I don't think anybody at this place have said that.......

Someone knows where I can find the nearest woodchipper to throw my pieces of junk into?

Okay just to prove the guitar makes sounds (not to prove I can play), I downloaded Kristal and recorded a couple tracks. It sucks: I was using the line out of my amp so it didn't sound great; the bad monkey (mostly for warm eq) sounded like crap through the line out; I did this in like 3 takes so it's rushed; there's mistakes all over the place, but at least you can tell that the guitar works.
BTW the guitar on the left channel is my blue strat with the neck and middle (duckbuckers asked about in another thread), so you can hear that, too.

Nice little soundclip.
The guitar looks cool by the way. Great job.
You think you can't, you wish you could, I know you can, I wish you would. Slip inside this house as you pass by.

Gawd. I'm really in love with this guitar. I hate to say it, but I LOVE the compound radius of the warmoth neck. It's really easy to play, and if I may say so myself, the frets were polished really well, and now they're GLASS SMOOTH.
