So does the Micro sound exactly the same as the M4000D?

Re: Mellotron micro
Yes, I'm pretty sure it does.
It is however lacking both some jacks, and an expansion slot.

Re: Mellotron micro
Another alternative:
You may be able to find a used Nord Electro 3 for a little bit more than the price of a new Mellotron Micro.
The Mellotron/Chamberlain samples are pretty good. So are the orchestral and "classic" synth sounds.
Plus, if you want to learn keyboards 61 or 73 keys will give you more room to progress.
You get great Hammond organ and electric keys [Wurlitzer/Fender Rhodes] and a decent acoustic piano to work with. Well, more decent acoustic piano than my trusty ol' Electro 2.

Re: Mellotron micro
it IS exactly the same instrument, less keys, less connections and no possibility to expand the sounds ans in the M4000D.OffYourFace wrote: ↑Thu May 31, 2018 9:45 amSo does the Micro sound exactly the same as the M4000D?

That's awesome! Cool video! I could watch people building and making stuff all day long.
