Well, that's a good question...  I was thinking that I might have to ditch it along with some other things and maybe get a used CS?  I dunno...  I'd like to get a template for the routs.  Unless someone here would like to rout it for me???  :)

I'd like the body to be as authentic as possible.

If you do decide to flip the parts, I konw a guy who might want that neck...
I prefer their older stuff.

...I bought the routing template from Tony @ pickguardian.  It was a pretty easy job with a cheap Sears fixed router & drill press except his template didn't come with routes for the control cavity so I freehanded it with the router which looks okay after some aggressive sanding to smooth it out but is far from professional.  All in all though I'm pretty happy with it.  Wizard of Az I believe made a template for the control cavity too and I believe could route for hire if you want to contact him.

I was about a half minute behind you for that VI neck - was cursing you actually  ;)  If you let go of it, holler at me because my guitarist(a former bassist) wants one now that he has toyed with mine.
