I vote for Shoreline.  I'm curious as to why you're looking at the Deluxe instead of Customs though??  Is it the appearance of the Deluxe with the 'bellbottom' headstock or do you actually like/want a humbucker in the bridge position?

IMO the Custom is the ultimate because you can blend in the WR humbucker (or use it solo in the neck position) but retain the bite and twang of a classic Tele.

I'd take Shoreline gold, if i was you. On the other hand, if i buy a Deluxe (and i will, sooner or later), i'll go for Walnut satin.

I wanted the 2 Humbuckers, and the Disco headstock....That, and the Custom only comes in Black and Sunburst.

I have 3 other Teles, all with the stock single/single pickups.  I want something different.

Nothing's final, though.  I may change my mind again.  I do know that I truly enjoyed playing that one last night.  I barely played anything else.

and I think it sounds like you made the right call Nolan. At least this way you're getting what you want in the end ultimately, and you aren't against waiting to get what you want. Makes it more worth it in the end.

I think I've only changed topic names on 3 or 4 threads....There are plenty of others who do the same, especially in the Mods/Projects/Restorations section.

I like white, I like gold...but neither of them are doing it for the Tele Deluxe...I wonder if that neck was a bit less anemic looking...I vote for Walnut if no tint is available.
By the way, I'm not buying a Strat XII anymore either. Yay!
