Its finally here, i'll get some actual decent pictures tomorrow but this will have to do for now
So far its actually pretty nice

its a 1980's one and as you can see its got some of the paint flaking but other than that and a loose furrel (or however you spell it) its it really good condition.. restrung it with some 11's and give it a bit of a set up and now it plays quite nice, sounds like a mix between a strat and a mustang.. just what you would expect really except its got one hell of a bite! The pickups are rather hot.. sounds really nice in the middle with both p'ups on

Those are cool guitars.
Roger Miller played one in Mission of Burma.

Hell yeah. Love Fender Leads.
and now the reissues of the Burma albums are out, go pick up a copy of Vs. and learn what you can unleash from that Lead II!

I'm kinda lazy and haven't gotten round to any new pictures yet, but i will get round to it eventually.
I found some of their stuff on youtube, they're actually REALLY good! "That's when i reach for my revolver" is probably my favorite I've seen so far.
On another note.. I've noticed that the fender serial numbers from this era are a little odd.. the leads serial is E004754 which should mean its from 1980.. but i've seen a few others with later nubers and still the E0xxxxx

so is it possible this is a late 79?

I really like those Leads. It's a really nice body shape, they should reissue it!
