Can't wait to see how exorbitant the 'Fender Australia' markup is! :w00t:

I definitely don't need another guitar, but I definitely need a purple sparkle Tele.
Beware, though: it's not part of the Paranormal Series, it's a FSR possibly limited to European retailers.

i just ordered the LPB toronado and the GPM super-sonic

I sold my white super sonic back in 2006 because Lake Erie ate my wedding ring and i needed to fund a new one.

the graphite one will be my 15th anniversary present to myself. Fuck You Lake Erie.

if you dig not too deep into the specs of the super sonic its 24" scale with a 40mm nut. you know what else I own that's 24" scale with a 40mm nut ? MY A NECK MUSTANG.

after i get it and put .13's on it ill take a photo of the bridge before i load more springs on it. it looks hilarious

Isn't Australia closer to China? Is it taxes? Exchange rate?
In addition to taxes & exchange rates the "tyranny of distance" is just exploited. Example, I can buy a book published in my city in Australia cheaper via England.

I thought that too... It's a bit weird cos with the exchange rate they are about €70 more expensive than in the UK.
Maybe the price will re-adjust when they're available to buy.
May the Fuzz be with you

It is helpful to see the in-store photos in newer listings, I was leaning blue for the Supersonic initially but the graphite metallic looks a lot cooler than I was expecting. I wish they had the vintage tint necks too, it definitely looks weird to see the pale ones now that Squier uses tint a lot now.

That shade of blue on the toronado is gorgeous, I'd love to see it with a white, mint, or pearloid guard. Deep blue and tort just doesn't work for me.

Yeah, they should have swapped the colours. Black on blue, tort on black.

I think I'll buy a black one - if anyone wants to swap pickguards drop me a PM
Black and tort is what I'm after since 10 years ; )

Is there a reason I keep running into this guy and his surprisingly popular videos on YouTube?

His tone/recording technique is always atrocious, the guitars are out of tune at least half the time, his playing is super basic, he's not particularly funny or memorable. Is he just super persistent in creating content or something?

I'll search for something like lipstick tube demos and come across a video of him. "Let's see where this goes," i think. A few slightly out of tune pentatonic riffs with ear-shredding treble later, I ask myself why I gave him another shot.
