NGD: '64 Jaguar
My slightly early Christmas present to myself.
Picked this up from a friend today, it had a Strat switch and pickups installed, but the original owner had kept all the original parts with it, so I had them reinstalled. The inside of the case has been redone with some kind of fabric, not amazing but it does the job.
It's a late 64/early 65, bits dated from both years. Someone has really played this thing, it's worn everywhere you'd expect, but it's not really been abused. It feels fantastic.
It plays amazingly, the neck is slightly narrower than my AV65 and obviously is a slimmer profile, super smooth too. It already had a Staytrem bridge on it, which I probably would have slapped on anyway. Not had a chance to play it through my normal set up as I'm visiting my hometown for Christmas, but I've been having great fun playing it through my little AC4. Can't wait to get it home and really give it a proper spin.
As of right now the only thing I might do is put a Staytrem arm on there, but we'll see...

I love seeing old played guitars with the back of the neck satin smooth. Great looking guitar, nice Christmas present!

A beautiful guitar and a hilariously drab case lining!
You think you can't, you wish you could, I know you can, I wish you would. Slip inside this house as you pass by.

Cheers all!
Yes, it's less than stellar inside haha, an attempt was made. It almost feels like it was made out of a blanket or something.PorkyPrimeCut wrote: ↑Sat Dec 26, 2020 12:53 amA beautiful guitar and a hilariously drab case lining!
